With its palm-fronted beaches, and more activities to enjoy and sights to see than you could shake a Pharaoh’s cubit at, Na’Ama Bay truly is a destination for all. Ideally located for some of the region’s best attractions and activities, it is a perfect base for exploring this captivating part of the world.
The Sinai Peninsula is widely agreed as being one of the best dive sites on the planet. Whether you are a novice to the world of snorkelling and scuba, or an experienced hand, there are some great sites. There are none better perhaps than the Ras Mohammed Marine National Park, which lies to the south-west of Na’Ama Bay.
All along the coast though, are some wonderful coral reefs. With the waters of the Red Sea being clear though most of the year, families too can enjoy seeing wonderful sea creature displays in the beach shallows.
As amazing as Na’Ama Bay is for diving though, within easy reach of the resort are a host of other activities to enjoy too. Golf is hugely popular here, and Co-Op Travel offers some great deals for groups heading out to enjoy a few rounds on the fairways.
There are some excellent spas for when a real pampering is needed, while casinos in Na’Ama Bay are always popular with British holidaymakers. For something altogether a little more traditional though, it is well worth checking out the markets, which still gather in and around Na’Ama Bay.
Many of the stands are typically Bedouin, offering up tempting jewellery and perfumes, and wonderfully made leather shoes and bags. The mastery of embroidery is also clear to see, with some great carpets and wonderful Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels. It is important to be prepared to haggle and never accept the first price you are offered, though.
When it comes to night life Na’Ama Bay is ideally located for a trip into Sharm, though many people find the best nights are to be had in the world famous Pascha nightclub. At any time of day, Na’Ama Bay really is a hot destination. Whether you’re just lying back in the sun, or thundering through the sands on a camel, it has it all.
