Mistake number three – You didn’t get quotes

If you can get an estimate you won’t be slugged with extra charges after the move is over!

Mistake number four – You didn’t check their insurance

Moving – at least for now until we get cyborg movers – is done by humans in trucks. There’s nothing wrong with that, it just means that there is every likelihood that they could drop or bump certain items that could be costly to replace or repair. You need to find out before you begin the move what kind of insurance your movers have, and what kind of cover they provide. After you know this, you can check with your home insurance provider to see what’s covered and what is the gap. If you’re moving items, sometimes insurance doesn’t cover it so it’s best to check.

Mistake number five – You didn’t prepare with enough time

Whenoving house, you need to make sure that you’re ready to go with plenty of time to spare. This ensures that you save yourself the kind of hassle that can only occur during a move… Now, you don’t really want to be in that sort of situation, so be sure that your plans with plenty of time before the move date.

Mistake number six – You didn’t arrange for pets

While you’re busy planning your move, you need to be sure that you’re planning to move any pets that you might have to. If you have any fish, dogs, cats, you need to be aware that they have their own special needs for moving and you need to plan for this.

Mistake number seven – You didn’t plan for plants

Take care of your green plant friends, because they’re the ones that are going to make your new home feel like a home quick smart when you unpack them. Pack your plants into a trailer, or boot lined with a tarpaulin, and make sure that they are hydrated with mist before you go.
