This year, the BPM Festival is hosted for the seventh time in the very beginning of the year (January 3-12, 2014).

The festival originated as an industry event intended for hospitality industry in 2008, but since then it has expanded to become an event that gathers producers, DJs and fans of electronic dance music from all over the world.There are both daytime as well as nighttime showcases included into the program that take place in various places of Playa del Carmen.

Due to its size and the talent of the performers, the BPM Festival is currently in the list of the essential music events around the world. There will be artists who will make their debuts in the BPM Festival 2014. These are Behrouz, Dennis Ferrer and Mark Farina. The underground pioneer from Detroit, Theo Parrish, will also take part in this festival for the first time. Among the greatest highlights of the BPM Festival 2014 is the meeting of two DJs who are already legends in the world of electronic music. The BPM Festival events for this year take place at different marquee clubs, like Kool Beach and Mamitas Beach Club for daytime parties and in Coco Maya and Blue Parrot for night owls. The three new venues for this year’s festival are also Fusion Beach Club intended for daytime parties, as well as the clubs Lost and Tabu for night parties.
