In 2017, it was the year of the big lips in the cosmetic treatment world, and there is no sign that this procedure is waning in popularity.  However, 2018 will not be the year of the lip, instead other procedures that make women more beautiful will be all the rage.

In this article, we will look at some of the most surprising trends in the industry this year so far.

The Laser Bra Lift

Larger breasts were the trend in the late 90’s and even into the early part of 2000’s.  Now some may argue the trend has flipped on its head and that smaller boobs are now what is fashionable.  This has set the way for a new scalpel-free treatment, The Laser Bra Lift.  This is a laser-assisted bra reduction, and it is set to replace the older outdated bra reduction techniques this year.  The Laser Bra Lift is said to work like an internal bra without material, which helps to create a full perky boob shape.  The procedure lasts two hours and excess skin is treated with a C02 laser, but instead of removing the excess skin, the skin is kept intact.  The lift then creates an internal bra like effect.

Botox 2.0

Ok, so Botox is not exactly disappearing and is still one of the most popular cosmetic treatments, if not the most popular cosmetic treatment around.  However, now one of the worlds best-known surgeons has predicted there this year will see the launch of an even better form of Botox, a Botox 2.0.  What exactly this Botox 2.0 injection will be, is not entirely clear, however, watch this space closely as it is sure to be popular.

Customised Labia

Since 2016, there has a significant rise in what is known as Labiaplasty.  Labiaplasty is the process of reshaping the Labia for comfort or for aesthetic reasons.  This has demonstrated that the once-taboo treatment is becoming gradually more acceptable, and this is likely to continue throughout 2018 and beyond. Woman are reportedly seeking the treatment to help with comfort, but also in a large part down to curiosity in many cases.  Whatever the reason however, I am sure we will continue to see growth in this area over the coming years.

Filler For Your Eyes

New uses of fillers will be important in 2018, and one such use is Tear Trough Treatment.  As we get older the skin under our eyes can become lax.  This can create a look of tiredness around the eyes and down into the cheeks.  This is known as your tear trough hollow.   What the eye filler treatment does is inject soft fillers to bring back to live your eyes and uplift the look around the whole eye.  It will also take away any dark rings and lighten the areas around the eye.  The eye lift takes only ten minutes and the results can be transforming, and that is why it is sure to become even more popular as the year goes on.
