1. Beaches

Australia has so many beaches that it is well nigh impossible to visit all, especially if it is your first time. However, the few that you visit will no doubt leave you with memorable experiences since Aussies have tremendous respect and love for their beaches and thus take care of them to add to the visitors’ experience.
In addition, Australia’s sandy and sunny beaches provide tourists with the opportunity to sunbathe, kayak, or surf etc whenever they feel like. It, perhaps, explains why they are always full of sun worshippers, surfers, and life savers. Some of the most renowned beaches in Australia include Manly Beach, Bell’s Beach, Byron Bay Beach, Gold Coast, Ninety Mile Beach and Cottesloe Beach.

2. Sports

For those who love to participate in or watch their favorite sporting activities, Australia will always provide you with the chance to do both. Whether as a fan or a participant, sport in Australia is bound to leave you excited and wild. Some of the most popular sports include rugby, cricket, football all of which are hosted in spectacular venues.

3. The Cities

Australia is home to numerous vibrant cities, each unique in its own way, but all with plenty of things to see and do. And this is best exemplified by Canberra, – the Australian Capital- which is one of the most outstanding cities that you will ever visit anywhere in the world. Not only are the people extremely friendly, but they will go out of their way to ensure a memorable visit for tourists. In addition, it also boasts a variety of restaurants that offer both international and local cuisine. Other notable cities in the Gold Coast are Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Newcastle.

4. National Parks

Those who have a soft spot for nature and wildlife will no doubt be intrigued to learn that Australia boasts of having over 450 national parks that serve as world class locations for among others wildlife watching, adventure, and holidays. Further, a majority of these parks host unique and iconic animals such as koalas, wallabies, possums, kangaroos, emus, platypuses, dingos, bears, and kookaburras. Some of the parks to be on the lookout for while on a visit down under include Flinders Chase National Park, Wollemi National Park, Mutawintji National Park, Port Campbell National Park, and Yalgorup National Park.

5. Fishing

Fishing is, arguably, Australia’s favorite pastime with plenty of fish available and in a variety of species in the marine and fresh waters of the country. And besides the actual fishing being an interesting endeavor, the fish is very delicious as well.
When on a visit to amazing Australia, do not forget to carry your camera as it will help you take pictures that will serve as unforgettable mementos of the places you have been, the people you have interacted with, and the things you have done. And chances are that you will be back to explore what you missed out on in your previous visits.
